Favorite Field Finds

A mama to two boys who play baseball and soccer, I’m always on one type of field or another. G is almost 15, P is 12, and the energy and commitment they have to whatever they are playing at the time is so fun to watch. As much time as I spend on the field, I want to be comfortable and have access to the necessities.

Here are my favorite finds!

Heated Chair

A must-have for those cooler nights or early morning fall and spring games. This chair plugs into a portable power bank and helps keep the chill off. The other parents may make fun of me, but I stay toasty and warm. I bought this one last season and love it.

Heated Blanket

See a theme here? I don’t like to be cold. Layer this one on top of your hoodie or jacket for extra warmth.

Backpack Cooler

Most weekends are tournament weekends, which means multiple games in one day. I pack this Stanley backpack cooler in the morning with my waters, diet Cokes, and maybe a few seltzers for the late afternoon games to keep me hydrated all day. Most of the time I use icepacks to keep everything chilled. I have also filled with ice and it does not leak!

Bag

I bought this Yeti bag in the Sandstone pink colorway before it was cool. The Camino 35 is the perfect option to hold all my essentials so I’m prepared for whatever the Maryland weather throws at me.

I also recently caved and bought the Yeti Sidekick to attach to the bag – it does add a little bit of bulk, but great to have the extra space.

If the Yeti Camino 35 is too much for you, I had this Scout bag before I upgraded. It holds a decent amount, and it’s not super bulky to carry to the field. I can stuff my blanket and hoodie in as well - and it comes in a bunch of fun patterns and colors.

Tumbler

My oldest son plays on a tournament team so that means multiple games in one day. Stay hydrated with a large capacity tumbler filled with your favorite beverage. I used to use this Stanley, but recently upgraded to this Yeti Rambler, Sandstone Pink of course, to match my bag. Pro tip - this bottle fits perfectly in the Yeti Camino bag side pocket.

Sunglasses

Depending on the field location, the sun can be killer. Make sure you catch all the amazing plays with a cool pair of sunnies. I found these cheap ones on Amazon - they have a bunch of super cute styles.
